Law Clerk/Intern Engagement 

The FMJA Diversity Committee provides opportunities for engagement and learning for Magistrate Judge law clerks and interns across the U.S.  For example, in 2022, the FMJA worked with Gilbert King, author of Devil in the Grove: Thurgood Marshall, the Groveland Boys, and the Dawn of a New America, to host a virtual book discussion for Magistrate Judge interns and law clerks.  The FMJA is also developing a law clerk boot camp to support our efforts to prepare Magistrate Judge law clerks to discharge their duties at the highest level.
